The BC Food Protection Association is completing arrangements
for our first two day event. The event will be held at the Delta Vancouver Airport
Hotel, Richmond, BC. Further details and program information will be available
in our upcoming newsletter, the Grapevine and in our event brochure.
The preliminary event brochure with registration form can be

Bird registration has been extended to October
7th, 2009! Plan on attending and register ASAP!

The BC Food Protection Association invites you and your students
to our food safety conference at the Delta Vancouver Airport Conference Centre
in Richmond, BC on October 21st & 22nd, 2009. Our theme “Embracing a Changing
World” aims to present you with information and tools that you will need to

Suggested Poster Guidelines
In powerpoint, custom size a single slide to 60 inches (width) by 36 inches
(height), equivalent to 3 feet by 5 feet. Use text boxes to insert text. Don’t
overcrowd text, less is more appealing. Use photos, diagrams, charts. Title
68pt font. Author name and heading, 47pt. Text 32pt. Include the following headings:
Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion/Conclusions, Acknowledgements, References.
(Note: These are recommendations only, and if your poster size / fonts differ
they are still acceptable).
