QA/HACCP Coordinator - Freybe Gourmet Chef, Langley, BC
Freybe Gourmet Chef is a fast-growing, leading producer of quality
ready-to-eat salads, soups and dips for both retail and food service customers
throughout Western Canada. Our facility is located in Gloucester Estates in Langley
(264th exit off Highway #1).
We currently have a career opportunity for a QA/HACCP Coordinator. This
position will be responsible all food quality and food safety programs as
well as provide support for research and product development activities. We
offer a competitive compensation package, a great working environment and
ongoing professional development.
Job Requirements:
We're looking for a results-oriented team player
with the following key qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Food Science or
Food Technology Diploma
- Minimum 1 year related work experience
in a food manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs and SOPs
- Great collaboration and team building skills
- Excellent English communication skills
including writing, speaking and training
- Creative thinking, analytical and problem
solving skills
- Hands-on and flexible
- Strong computer skills including Word and
Excel
- And a passion for food!

The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Host Mentoring Program is looking for Volunteer
Mentors to act as advisors, networkers, and leaders to newcomers to Canada.
If you are or were a food technology/safety professional, we are looking for
you to share your expertise and time and help a newcomer from Korea with a similar
background. The biggest barrier newcomer professionals face in Canada is finding
work in their field. You can help someone to achieve their career goals and
understand more about Canadian culture in the process. Come make a difference
in someone's life!
