Our next event will be our 2011 Annual General Meeting. This event will be held on Monday, January 23rd, 2012 at the Delta Vancouver Airport Hotel, 3500 Cessna Drive, Richmond, BC. In addition to the requisite business portion of the AGM, the evening will feature two presentations. Courtesy of the International Association for Food Protection Speaker's Program we will feature, Dr. Don Schaffner, Extension Specialist in Food Science and Professor, Rutgers University and Vice President, International Association for Food Protection speaking on “Understanding and Managing Food Safety Risks”. We are also fortunate to also have Dr. Wei Zhang, Associate Professor of Biology and Food Microbiology, Department of Biological and Chemical Sciences, Illinois Institute of Technology presenting on “Bacterial Stress Response and Genomics”.
